A Williamstown Treasure.

One of our goals is to create a true community gathering place which remains consistent with Sand Springs of the past.

"Most needed are those 'third places' which lend a public balance to the increased privatization of home life. Third places are nothing more than informal public gathering places...they are the heart of a community's social vitality, the grassroots of democracy, but sadly, they constitute a diminishing aspect of the American social landscape." - Ray Oldenburg

Specifically we aim to:
  • Provide a community room with comfortable seating, a wood stove, board games, shelves of books, and a tot play area.
  • Upgrade the kitchen to allow the serving of fresh, local, and healthy options: soups, salads, sandwiches, smoothies, ice cream, fresh baked goods, etc.
  • Create a space and atmosphere where families can grab lunch or a snack during a day at the pool or stay for dinner.
